After School Teacher

About the Job
We are looking for an assistant teacher for our After School program Monday through Friday each week. Hours for the position would be 1 pm to approximately 6 pm daily.
Responsibilities would include:

- Driving a 15-passenger van to pick up children from one of the local elementary schools
- Assisting children with homework each afternoon
- Planning/engaging in activities with children
- Communicating with parents during pick-up.
- Cleaning tasks in order to prepare the classroom for the next day.
Hourly rate of pay would be based on experience/education in the field of early childhood education (or related field of study). Additional hours are available during the morning in our younger classrooms if desired.
